Purchased Mallard and Credence today, both of the scent descriptions seem right up my alley. I already know I love the Tallow & Duck Formulation, and am excited to try the Mallard. Also looking forward to 10/9 so I can finally try out the Vegan base. What great times we live in! Thanks GroomingDept, keep up the great work!

I joined you fellas yesterday. Decided that although it's hard to add another soap to try into my rotation, using Grooming Dept yesterday (veggie formula) for a face shave was promising. There are some things I still need to adjust to like loading more and choosing my better brushes but overall I do believe we have quality here and I want to give the tallow/duck formulation a shot. It may have what I feel like I am missing.

Plus I am looking forward to the scent of Ambrosia. There was an artisan I used to support (no longer unfortunately) but had a great cherry like tobacco scent that i LOVED using!

Mohammad, I saw you have added goats milk to the tallow soaps, any reason to include it in these and not in the non tallow/duck soaps?

Hi Zac, thanks for your purchase and support! I hope you like Ambrosia, I look forward reading your thoughts on it.

The tallow+duck has always had goat milk in it (Aether was the first tallow+duck). I didn't feel the duck fat (Mallard) needed goat milk. On 11/10 I'm releasing the first 3 tallow based soaps, they'll have goat milk in them.

My productivity was off the charts today, folding boxes, prepping bubble wrap, capping soaps

I'm launching 3 tallow soaps on 11/10. Magnolia & Oud, Wonderland, I'll announce the third one in a week or so. This is not the label for Wonderland, but a list of scent notes.

GroomingDept so happy the launch was a success-I was a bit of a hog and ordered two of the Mallards along with the Ambrosia and Credence because, well, duck fat!

Wonderland sounds great-you had me at tobacco and leather!

Your non-tallow soaps are right up there with my beloved Italian soaps.

And the tallow, if the Aether is any indication, will give the other big artisan names a run for their money!

Now, to sneak these by my better half when they arrive, so she doesn't notice them...

I am lucky, my better half approves anything that comes from Mohammad's alchemy lab!
