I really like the latest version of Janus with Lanolin Sandalwood followed by the Lusso Cascade.  They load and lather easily and provide extremely comfortable shaves with blissful post shave.

So difficult to pick favorite three. This pile is my favorites since I have already sold off about 20 other GD soaps that were not so great to my nose.

Better than the Donkey Milk base?

I can see where that would be a difficult pick

The Donkey milk base is great. Hell, they are all great bases. However, I find that the new Janus with lanolin loads and lathers faster providing volumes of lather with what seems like little soap depletion.

I have to mention that Mohammad, a few weeks ago,  sent me a chunk of his test sample “Olive Oil” base soap.  It is just as soft as his other bases and I mashed it into a metal tin.  It was an unscented test version and had zero Olive scent.  It actually smelled similar to the scent of his unscented preshave product.  I hope he releases this base in the future because it is really good also.  Personally, I think the test bases that Mohammad throws away as unacceptable are probably better than 90% of the competing soaps on the market.

No wonder I can’t find any!
