Hi Mohammad,

I just heard about your soap and am excited to try it. I raced to your site to buy and looks like you are sold out of everything but the unscented.

This will be a first for me to try a vegan soap. Never tried one before. I've always read that tallow was better. So I can't wait to try a vegan and your duck fat tallow.

When will I be able to buy one of each type of base?

Out of curiosity, would you say one of your bases is better or slicker than the other?

Is the tallow/duck base better?

I'm curious why you brought on a 2nd base. Curious what it does better or different than the vegan base.

@"deaman312" I would say the scent is somewhere between 7-8 for both the vegan and tallow. Some scents stick around longer than others.


I decided to do two bases because some people prefer not to use vegan soaps, I also like different ingredients and seeing what I can do with them Both bases are slicker than the outgoing soy wax base, and have much better post-shave feel too. The bases have similar characteristics. Some testers couldn't tell which base is which. I wouldn't say one is better than the other, a couple of testers thought the vegan is similar to European tallow soaps. The tallow a is tad denser, the vegan is tad slicker. I hope I answered your questions.

I’m excited to announce that on August on 24th I’ll release my new vegan base and the new beef tallow & duck fat base. I originally launched my vegan base with soy wax as the main source of stearic acid. For various reasons fragrances made with large percentages of essential oils dissipated rather quickly. I swapped out the soy wax and now I use stearic acid, but I have also added new ingredients. The new vegan and tallow bases have many ingredients in common. Based on my observations and a large pool of testers I can say the two bases surpassed the soy wax formula in terms of slickness, residual slickness and post shave feel. Some testers couldn’t tell which is vegan and which is tallow!

I’m releasing some new scents and a couple of favorites are coming back. All scents will be on the stronger side around 7-8 of 10 with some having staying power beyond the shave duration. At this time the tallow+duck will come out in one scent, but over the next few months I’ll release new scents.
