I have read good reviews of the soft soap from this Danish shop.
https://www.goldenbeards.com/products/sh...lden-shave
Nothing exceptional in the composition, it offers its best in the fragrance with bergamot.
Good mechanics, nice packaging, but above all a full-bodied, natural and enveloping perfume.
All for an average price (90DKK), such as the quantity and the list of ingredients. (INCI)
Stearic Acid, Aqua (Water), Cocos Nucifera Oil, Potassium Hydroxide. Sodium Hydroxide, Parfum (Fragrance), Citral, Linalool

Going to the website, I also found a hard soap.
https://www.goldenbeards.com/products/ha...-soap-60ml
Definitely more interesting in its technical characteristics.
Less conspicuous in format and packaging.
The strong point is the composition:
Sodium Palmate (Palm Oil) organic, Sodium Cocoate (Coconut Oil) organic, Aqua (Water), Sodium Olivate (Olive oil) organic,
Cocoamidoprophl, Bataine, Soyamide DEA, Glycerol (Glycerin), Mel KBA, (Honey KBA), Lactis Ovis (Sheep's Milk), Lanolin Cera (Lanolin),
Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Extract (Orange Essential Oil) *, Rhizoma Curcumae organic (Curcuma Root CBA),
Sodium Chloride (Salt), Sodium Thiosulfate, Limonene *
* from natural, essential oil

I really like the richness of the organic vegetable fats associated with Lanolin wax.
Sheep milk and honey offer good functionality to the skin.
Last but not least, the two anti-inflammatory components. (Orange and Turmeric)
These also offer a protective action on dyschromias and problems of postshaving skin texture ... and not only.
In this case I think the price is lower than the value, because the former is medium (68DKK) but the latter seems high.

Back home from work, thanks to a forum mate gift, today I've found the little Organic soap from Golden Beards waiting for me.

Despite I've shaved in the morning, I've given a shot.

Performance is not optimal, as feared reading the ingredients list.
I've never liked any formulation with just sodium hydroxide.
For sure not the mechanical properties.

Other users talk well about it.
Not about the lather, which laks of consistency.
But the skin conditioning.

Let's see tomorrow ... Wink

Yesterday's assumptions are fully confirmed.

Poor mechanical skills.
Embarrassing tendency to dry out.
For me: "No Potash, NO Party".

On the other hand, lubrication is great.
And also the skin conditioning is not bad.
On my particular skin, it didn't give the comfort I expected.
But still more than enough to not need an aftershave.
In action, the honey fragrance is even more full-bodied and enveloping.

Ideal product to take advantage of the superlathering technique.

As I mentioned earlier, today I tried superlathering.
For the soap, Golden Beards "Organic"; for the cream, The Real Shaving Co. "Traditional".

I didn't hit the doses on the first try.
Although I used little cream, It was strong.
The soap has retained its fragrance, but less evident and enveloping.
On the other hand, the mechanics has become decidedly valid.
The durability of the foam has also become good.
As the postshave.

In short, a good result.
I just have to refine the doses.
But the path is right.

Even today Golden Beards.
Even today with RS.
Even today, something has gone wrong.

To improve the postshave, I tried adding a brushless cream.
But the result was below expectations.
Tomorrow I try with my oil.

Today finally the squaring of the circle.

Honey soap continues to be difficult.
It tends to dry out, even in superlathering.
But it is definitely better, good if not excellent.
Especially with the help of my oil.
However, an administrative success.

As the saying goes ... "Everything is Good, what ends well".
