I think your comment about being blown away by such a good blade being made in China is interesting. Obviously a lot of cheap consumer products are made in China but I think the state of Chinese manufacturing and the skill of the labour are sufficiently advanced now that they are able to make high quality items if that is what is specified. The reason we see so many lower quality items coming out of China is because when companies seek to source products in China they have specific price points and profit margins in mind. When you see cheap, crappy products its because thats what the customer wanted or, at least what they were willing to pay for. They're perfectly capable of making higher quality products it will just cost more - thats a business reality that doesn't change no matter where you go. Where did you get these blades?
