At this point, I have several hundred of the laser etched and of the New as well. I still prefer the New at a slightly higher price FWIW.

I've used Gillette Platinum (ink printed) for over nine years. Nearly all my shaves (definitely 99% of them)... for nine years.

The others aren't the same. No matter how many times someone says that, it doesn't make it true. The others are so different, I want to say they're fake. Of course, I can't bc I don have proof (if only the media acted with such integrity).

The ink printed are definitely "real", because those are what the Art of Shaving stores sell.

For me, the etched ones are good for the first shave (maybe two), but then a major degradation.
The ink printed ones are 4 shaves, sometimes five. I toss them just because I have so many... glad I stocked up over the years.

Not sure the difference, but the lazer engraved ones are my favorite blade
