Well sure. But age has nothing to do with how a razor shaves.

Vintage rocks!

As far as Charcoal Goods, I can say that the level 3 OC feels more aggressive than the LC NEW. Maybe the Lvl 2 OC feels similar but I don't have one. And these:

feel more aggressive than the NEW LC, equivalent to the lvl 3 oc

Yes, I have definitely more blade feel with those fancy NEWs than my LC NEW with the ball tip handle.
And that is when that fancy handle is fully tightened. The gillette instructions said that you could leave the handle a little loose for a more aggressive shave. Every time I tried that I have drawn blood.

Ok I misunderstood , I thought you said the Deluxe was more aggressive than the Charcoal 3.

The old Gillette Blade’s were thicker than the modern ones, therefore you could have loosened the head. The blades of today are more thinner and would not work unless a shim or some sort is put.

Matt at razor emprorium did a spotlight video on the new improved and loved it more than the old type.

Michael Freedberg didn’t like the new and improved.
