Hi DFS' ers,
Hope that everyone had a safe, pleasant holiday with friends, family and outlaws (social distancing of course). I have just a few items to share. I lost a friend over the holidays and one on a ventilator due to Covid 19. Mike was 44 years old and in good health. Took him in 5 days. Bill is a little older and holding his own, but time will tell. Don't let anyone convince you this is a fraudulent epidemic. It's real, so I hope that all members try and stay safe and enable precautions as they deem fit. Can't afford to lose any more friends.
Hate to be a downer, but that is life as we currently know it.
I have enjoyed working with Frank at ETHOS and look forward to the innovative things we both can come up with for 2021. I have been in R&D mode for a little while and will be bringing out some different offerings that I think you may like. It's hard to reinvent the wheel, but you can make it with some bling and other interesting additions. More in the future.
I appreciate the opportunities that DFS has allowed me to pursue, and the encouragement given by the members. I have shipped items all over the world, and expanded my client base quite a bit. I heard from a Client in Israel today, that had me make 2 Gearhead style handles (Blue and White) in which I installed Cashmere knots. He received them today and was extremely happy with them. I shipped them October 27th. I kept in constant contact with him during the prolonged shipping time and he was very patient as he really wanted the brushes and not a refund. Customers like that motivate me even more.
I look forward to 2021 and the new things it brings. Everyone stay safe and be blessed.
Tim "Knothead".

Tim, I am so sorry to hear about your friend Mike. May Bill pull through this horror.

All good thoughts sent your way on any new ventures and may this new year be a winner for Knothead Brush Works. Stay safe.

44 years old and  in good health, you just never know about that Covid, how it affects different people. Life's short, we better live it today. Thanks for the information and I hope the family and friends are doing okay.
Sounds like the business is doing good Tim. I can see we're shipping would be a real challenge, especially the last few weeks.

Hi Tim,

So sad about your friends and COVID. It is terrible to hear, but it does snap us back a bit and forces us to remember that this is not over.  We have more time to go until life becomes normal again.

To make you feel a bit better, I use your brush often and really enjoy it.

Best, Glenn

Thank you Glenn.
Appreciate the encouraging words. Yes, it will be some time before life is normal as we knew it prior to this. It really does make you appreciate what you have and the friendships you have cultivated. Stay safe.
Tim
