Today I have trouble with my hot water, so, I needed to shave with cold water. I got a canned goo (made in Turkey, not popular brand), which I use in moments like this.
All that can say is - it`s works Wink
Ok, not the best preparation, and I was little afraid, because with GEM MMOC this is very important, but shave was very well.
Personally I rare shave with cold water, but sometimes it happens Dodgy

Have a nice day to all !

Lolita Haze: Do you always have to shave twice a day?
Humbert Humbert: Yes, of course, because all the best people shave twice a day

I would never try to steer a person away from GEM as I regard them as miracles.

However if one is suffering constant problems I would like to suggest any Schick Injector SINGLE EDGE razor.
I think they are the very tamest of all single edge razors and their small heads easily get into difficult areas.
Their blades are very well protected and they seem to select the correct angle automatically.
They give good BBS shaves with the long lasting blades.
The razors and the Injector blades are readily available on eBay at quite reasonable prices.
Just make sure there is a money back guaranty if it is used. But they seem to be almost indestructible.

Shane.

I am in complete agreement with you.

I can't complain about the results but shaving with the light weight plastic post-war Schick razors feels a whole lot like shaving with a cart. In my DeHaven and Mark Cross I find the injector shave much more enjoyable, on par with the MMOC.
