I used GameChanger 84., it is a mild razor, but pretty efficient daily shaver. No Blade feeling
Then I tried Jaws, the efficiency improved significantly, but I can feel blade now. I need to be careful, when I use it.
Now, I ordered OC, it is one of the best razor I have ever had.

Waiting for higher blade gap for closed comb. Hopefully I will happen. Like GC 1.0

The GC 84 was nothing short of perfection today. Hot and humid day that called for a face freeze. Lisa’s Florida Freeze & Chiseled’s Cryogen splash. Cool and smooth as a newborns derrière....

I love the GC .84, it’s spoiled me for other razors. With a Gillette, green Super Stainless blade, it is the perfect match for my needs. I like it so much, I bought two more, one for travel and one as a backup.

Surprisingly, they all shave a bit differently. The first one is about a year old is the most smooth and efficient razor I’ve ever used. The two new ones were purchased this month and while both are efficient, they are clear differences in the smoothness of their shave.

The only razor that I have decided to pursue to add to my 30 razor collection is a Razorock Gamechanger Open Comb. I want it with the HD handle. 85mm is perfect for my hand. Unfortunately sold out of that handle with the razor. Waiting patiently and checking the Italian Barber website every other day. Once I have that I'm done with the hardware acquisition disorder. That leaves me with the soap acquisition disorder.

One is not simply done with hardware acquisition disorder

Well, I am.  During my first three years of entering this hobby I spent waaaay too much time on the auction sites and checking out all of the online retailers in search of that next great new or vintage razor, brushes and lather bowls.  I no longer do this.  The only time I might do some "window shopping" is when I read something intriguing about a product or see some pictures of something nice looking in these forums.  I no longer have that drive to buy any hardware.  Does that mean there isn't something out there that I might want?  No way.  For instance I definitely have decided to buy a Razorock Gamechanger Open Comb with the HD handle.  I have lots of vintage razors and some of the modern zamak razors but very few if any modern stainless razors.  So that is my rationale for justifying that razor, plus lots of people are raving about it and it seems to have the characteristics I value in an open comb razor.  Same goes for the Captain's Choice copper lather bowl, the heavy version.  It just appears to me to be close to being perfect.  So, those two are it for me for hardware.  I'll always be looking for soaps and aftershaves because I love scents.  And since they are consumables, there is always a need for more.

I’m a big fan of the GC 0.84. I’ve found it works best with the Gillette Silver Blue, it just lacks a touch of efficiency. I’m hoping one of the OC base plates hits the spot.

I find it very frustrating Italian Barber didn’t sell the OC plates separately straight away. Surely they’ve already sold a tone of the SB version? I did contact IB to ask when they would be looking at selling them separately and they said around September.

Game Changer OC with titanium TiBam New York handle (80mm). Best razor I’ve ever used and works well with all my favorite blades.

It actually is a real good pairing. Although I like my handles in the 90-95mm range, this pairing feels nicely balanced. The HD & Jaws feels very good in the hands and is an efficient shaver. No complaints on my first go with it....
