  • Alpha Shaving Bandit
  • RazoRock Game Changer .84-P with Giesen & Forsthoff Handle
  • Karve Christopher Bradley with SB-B Plate and Stando Suomi Handle
  • Yates Model 921-M

Here is the full lineup of safety razors from my shave den for 2022; they're all fantastic and provide great shaves.
I prefer razors with neutral blade exposures. In the past, I tried razors with positive exposures, but they were too aggressive and uncomfortable ATG.

If you cannot use a more aggressive razor for your ATG pass, then don't. However, that does not mean you have to forego the efficiency of a more aggressive razor. There is no requirement that you use a single razor for an entire shave. I do a four-pass shave (WTG, XTG, ATG, and clean-up) and typically use a different razor for each pass. These razors will progress from more aggress to less aggressive. For my clean-up pass, I use a very mild Weishi TTO with a super sharp Nacet or BIC blade. It is great for picking up stray stubble that escaped the earlier passes.

Always worth listening to RayClem’s advice. We may not all want to go to the lengths he does but I doubt that anybody knows more than he does about getting a close shave with the maximum amount of comfort. I’ve learned so much from Ray’s comments on forums over the years - whether about razors of all kinds, soaps and shave products, or technique.

Stunning collection, Dapper Chap. You are one cool cat! As for your razors, I especially like that Suomi handle. Can I ask how long it is?

It took a lot of trial and error, but I am very pleased with these four because they all complement each other well.
The Suomi handle is the cat's whiskers, 95mm long and 69 grams.

How do you find the RR Gamechanger. And is the handle on it from another company? I really like the look of that handle. Does it get slippery?
