Found a helpful pour over video

GoodShave, as for a grinder, last year a bought a Timor Chestnut (C2?). I was watching some other videos that The Coffee Chronicler made, and I saw his review of grinders. The one I have is one of his top 4 picks! Given the price point of the premium one, I best curb my enthusiasm!

I used a Kyocera manual grinder for years (and a blade grinder or two before that) but struggled to get consistent brews. I read that burr grinders could give more consistent grinds than blade grinders and I ran across some of the Coffee Chronicler's videos on the topic and picked up a 1zpresso JX which have used it for years. It is a great grinder. If you are getting consistent good results with the grinder you have then there is no need to upgrade grinders.
 
I saw a few videos last night of reviews of 1Zpresso grinders and it seems that they are cranking out new versions right and left. I checked to see how long they expect the burrs to last in my grinder and the 1zpresso website said that the burrs in their grinders are expected to last 100-200 kg of beans. There is even mention that I may be able to buy replacement burrs in the future.

I only make 1-2 cups a coffee per day, so it will take me a while to hit that limit as I usually use 11-18g of coffee per cup (depending on the recipe and brew method).

I am considering the 1zpresso Q2 for travel since it will fit in the tube of my AeroPress (if I remember correctly from a video I watched) but I see that I could get a travel case for my grinder instead which means I would not have to adjust my documented grind settings for different beans and different recipes.
