We’ve been wanting one for quite a while. And this one popped up on Facebook marketplace. Got it for a Benjamin. It’s like new. They go for a good bit more in stores. Worth the 20 mile drive to pick it up. She is making meringue as I post this with the left over egg whites from the choux pastry.

That mixer was one of the only gifts from my Dad to my Mom that made her cry for happiness! Well done Fluffy!

Thanks Eric. 
According to her she "Almost Cried"... but I left it on the counter for her when I left for work. So she may just be saying she didn't cry. As to not give me the upper hand on the "who gave the best gift list".  As I was not there to confirm the actual reaction I'll have to take her word.
