Love the look that your handle is getting! I posted pics on B&B in a thread I participate in, and it got some positive remarks!

If an area is going to get irritated during my shave, it is almost always the left side, neck mostly, but the cheek (rosacea area) too. Mow it all down, let God sort the weepers! I'll have my TP and steptic ready, lol   Cool

Oh that's too funny! A couple of the techs would get it, and a couple would be puzzled!

Well folks Monday’s in the history books.
This evening’s shave finished the day off smartly.
Love my 14’s. The brush, soap and aftershave. All did their part to make for a very nice ambiance in the bathroom.
Hope you all made out ok today.

Gotta love a nice ambience in the bathroom, which is not always the case in the loo!

Tabac Tuesday
[Image: j4iR72b.jpg]

Shave number 4 on the Feather Pro blade in the Oren. Another nice shave. Getting the modified strokes worked out. So that there are not problem areas. I am pleased with this razor.
Tabac delivers every time. Good day today. Should be an interesting one tomorrow at work. Paving some sections of road that needed extensive repair. As it is on the side of a hill. And gravity and mother nature are doing their thing.  Be interesting to see if the "Big Guy Engineers" from down town. Figured out how to stabilize everything. Or if we are gonna be back out here in the near future. Not holding my breath. Is all I'm saying.
Hope you guys made it one day further towards the weekend in good shape.

Wednesday's Shave

The items that I gathered to perform this shave are some real skippy things I truly enjoy using.
The Korrat 14 2.0 is my one and only modern straight. That is just top notch for me. The Yaqui badger brush was PIF from my buddy John DeepSea .
And the soap being a homage to a classic scent (Burma Shave) love it. And very good performance to boot. And AV aftershave has been around this long for a reason.  Put them all together at the same time. And it's a recipe for an enjoyable shave. The kind you slow down and savor. Like a bite of chocolate cheesecake, followed by a sip of Kona coffee. For dessert. Once you finish. You wish you could go back and do it over again. Then you remember that day in history class. That you learned about the Roman practice of feasting on delicacies. Then them making themselves vomit. So they could do it all over again. And you see the crazy genius of it.
Damn, now I want cheesecake. Oh well.
Have a good one guys.

Sounds like a great shave Fluffy.

A quick question for those of us ignorant to the ways of the straight... What is 14? I've seen it on several of your posts. Is it a length or width of the blade, or something less obvious?

Thanks.

That is one sweet looking beard knife, Fluffy!
I’m terrified that I’m going to get into straights.
