PS- just came to me it was "Fragile Confusion"

Yes Dave. The Gilde is a nice base. I have about two uses left of the Olfactory Hue left. I am whittling down my soaps to only scents and bases, that I really like.
NurseDave 's soap sample pass around has a few on my "buy" list.  But until I use up a soap. I am not allowing myself to add to my soaps.  A test of my willpower.
I have plenty of soap. Especially since some dudes I know like to drop stuff off at the Post Office.

[Image: 849dfZe.jpg]Today was a good day. Spent some time channeling the spirits of the ancient honing masters. From the Land of the Rising Sun.
It is with their guidance. My hands have the ability to impart the "Shogun Edge" TM, Patented in 33 countries.  My hypothesis that the Ralph Aust razor would take less effort to get the desired results. Was of course correct.  And while i had the hones out. I put a edge on one of the razors that was given to me by a coworker. It's an old appox. 1900's Boker.
With a drednaught tip. And heavy 1/4-1/2 hollow grind. This old feller has some hone wear. So I used two pieces of tape. It also has a wavy/uneven bevel.
Lets just say Carl at the Boker factory had a off day. But I've seen worse. With a bit of time. It came around.

Test shave with the Aust was very pleasant. And It will prolly be back in the mail tomorrow. So that it's owner may use it to remove unwanted facial hair.
Have a good one guys. Fluffy

Nope Tim. This Aust is the first I've laid hands on. It is a very nice razor. Well made, and ground. I am happy to have had a chance to touch this one up. And give her a spin.
I hope it's owner is happy with my efforts. It took a fine edge with very little effort.

Nice shave tonight.
Love the scent of this soap. Nice performance as well. The Omega is back in the regular rotation for my small brush collection. The Dubl Duck wiped off the whiskers with the usual amount of ease. Brandy Spice follows the show and play off this soap very well.
Hope all of you had a good hump day.
Fluffy.
