Petroleum, sort of bluish-white collar.  My office is wherever they (the smart ppl) tell I’m going.  I mostly troubleshoot environmental issues (we like to spill things) but again, I do what the smart people tell me to do

We like drilling holes (especially under water), exploratory tapping, and freedom rich shale. We don’t like carcinogenic noise windmills...

Here’s a joke...
Heard a huge oil company is planning on using insect urine as a source for an alternative fuel...
“I think its BP”

Cheers

Um-kay i guess that is technically a joke. Wink

Sorry, you lost me.
I vote for SMRs (Small Modular Reactors) - 4th gen "walk-away failsafe" stuff, when it gets here.

I just find them creepy-looking when in groups of more than 3. I live about 12 km from 15 of them.
We could be Heroes, just for one day.

John which part specifically did I lose you on? The drilling of holes under water? The exploratory tapping which ppl get really excited when called fracking? Or the Freedom rich shale part?

Hello guys.
Looks like my "idea" of starting a thread here. In lieu of a "journal" section is being viewed as a positive thing. A rare thing. As usually they (ideas) are received with scorn and venom.
Think blind squirrel and broken clock analogies.
Thanks to those that chimed in and added their two cents. The value of this thread is now up to about $.10 by my calculation.

Good day today. Election day. And also the best day ever.....my birthday.  Big Grin
Seeing as how I follow politics closely. It was a very appropriate day for me squirt out into the world. Not sure of the nexus of my interest in politics. But I am usually dismayed by our countries general lack of participation. Especially when so many people around the world would give anything to live here and partake in our system.  It is not perfect. But if we are so bad? Why are people not working and plotting their escape to other countries?

I have a special shave planned for tonight.
My new SV brush will get it's first use. I've held off since getting it for this special day.
The soap will be my favorite "currently" Soloist. Thanks again for introducing this marvelous product to me Dave in KY
The razor will be my present to myself a few years back. My Koratt 14 2.0
And finally the aftershave will be Alt Innsbruck.
This is the current all time favorites of my den. I have requested that my people entomb me in my pyramid with these particular items. So that I may be happy in the afterlife.

Pics to follow later. Hope you all voted and all of you have a great day.
