If you want to give the Nano a test run. I can send it up to you.

The Oumo knots that looked good to me were the 24X79mm bulb knots.
Have a good weekend buddy.
Let me know about the Nano.

Hey Ken, have you by any chance looked at their badger knots?  I've been interested in the badgers, but it seems to be a confusing landscape (and not a cheap one either!).

Hey Mike,
Didn’t look too hard at their (Oumos’s) other knots. On the advice of a couple knowledgeable folks. I got an AP Gealousy SHD Badger knot a while ago. And it is really nice. It stacks up with the one in my SV brush. And at $45 for the 24mm is a fair price for it IMHO.

Thanks Ken.  I just checked out AP's site, and I may well go that route. I was disappointed with some AP G5 synths I got - glue bump was massive - but now that you mention it, the Gealousys have gotten a lot of love.

I hear you on the G5. I have a G5A that has been in and out of handles repeatedly. I had taken it out the last time with every intention of getting rid of it. Then I found a thread on how great they were, so I read the thread carefully. I decided to reset the knot higher, and to soak it prior to use, as if it were natural hair. That made me enough of a believer to order a smaller one!

From looking at Oumo's site it might be a safe bet that they made the badger knot that I got from AP. Just a few dollars difference in price. So not much in it to argue for ordering from one or the other. AP did get my knots to me quickly. When I get the boar knots from Oumo I may get some more if I like them well enough. To have on hand to make some brushes. Think I'm gonna try a horse hair knot as well.

Yes! I will try it. I have been finding that SE razors are giving me more consistent and better shaves than my DEs. I have some other AC blades, I think, but the Prolines are my preferred. I may even have a tin/metal snips buried somewhere in the basement. So I am game. PM to follow with the address. And no rushing! Just knowing I can try it is fine and scratches the itch, so I can wait as long as needed! Thanks, man!
