UPDATE:

Thanks to one of my new customers FB review of Succes Shave Soap and Skin Food Splash who is a friend and good customer of the owner Leon who contacted me after seeing the review, ETHOS Grooming Essentials will soon be available at  Pasteur’s Pharmacy NYC.

My son lives in NYC so next time I go down to see him I’m going to stop and see the store and get together with Leon as we had a very nice conversation today and he also placed his first order. They even have shave meets there so I’m hoping to meet some of my NYC customers in person next time they have one as I plan on attending the meet up.

In Sept 2019 (just before Covid) I spent 4 days in NYC, and chased down all of the shaving shops in the city.  Pasteur's was like dying and going to shaving heaven.  Pasteur's  may have the largest selection of shaving soft goods on the planet.  I actually found original Shiseido Bravas aftershave, made in Japan (now made in Vietnam) plus many other hard to find items.  I was also able to smell many of the storied artisan soaps you know about but have not purchased.  If you are in NYC, Pasteur's is not to be missed.  If you live there, you must try the Ethos products, since they are literally at your door.

Thanks guys! I can’t wait to visit the store I’ve heard so much about it over the years. I’m proud to know my products will be in the store.

Waiting for your indisputable, independent data that proves label graphics directly impact the sales of shaving products at retail...

Pasteur’s is a renown shaving retailer but you might be surprised at the size of the footprint and displays.

Its status is built on volume and variety of product located for public access in one physical location in the heart of the most cosmopolitan of US cities - this is definitely not HighStreet levels of luxury merchandizing.

Products need rely on attractive packaging to stand out in a virtual ocean of product on the shelves and even then can get lost.

BUT just the exposures gained from being available in Pasteur’s, hopefully accompanied by packaging encouraging future direct from web purchases, makes being there worth selling at breakeven.

The power of Pasteur’s is at least as much advertising value as sales revenue generation
