Due to a rare hiccup by UPS, my sets of Tears of a Dragon and Noel showed up late.  Tonight was my first shave with Noel.  What a way to shave in the New Year!  This stuff is outstanding, even as outstanding goes. (And FWIW, I'm saving Tears of a Dragon for Thu-Rose-Day.)

UPDATE: 

So I mentioned I was going to test this idea a couple of months ago and on Monday I made a batch and put them up on the website. 

With that said I have to say I’ve been wanted to update the formula a bit. The Unscented Skin Food Splash has been a well received product for almost as long as ETHOS has been in business and I also offer what we call a Hybrid of it which contains a higher dose of the EOS Complex well no need to special order those any longer. All the Unscented have a new formula with not only an increase in the percentage of the EOS Complex but also a higher dose of Hyaluronc Acid which is one of the differences. I added a bit of the Hyaluronic Acid Serum and also made a Protein Complex of Hydrolized Collagen, Oat, Silk and Milk. 

I used up all the old labels on this batch but new ones reflecting the new formula will be ordered on Thursday. 


I have to say I’m so happy with this new formula. It came out crystal clear and it’s even more moisturizing than not only the regular formula but even more so than the Hybrid. I’ve used it twice and I’m very pleased with the results. 

Also we now have refills in a larger size and the price per oz is even better. I will say this larger bottle doesn’t come with any frills as it is what it’s intended to be, just a refill. It will have only a back label showing the ingredients as that’s in compliance with the FDA and it has a simple plastic top on it with no reducer. I took a photo of both sizes side by side so you can see the difference. For right now it’s only offered in the Unscented Skin Food Splash but I will probably add some of the standard scents in the future if this idea goes over well. 


As far as refilling goes it’s pretty easy and you have 2 choices. One is to take the reducer out of the smaller size and fill the bottle and put it back in or if you don’t care about looks just take the reducer out of the smaller bottle and put it on the bigger bottle and use it right from the bigger bottle. In an effort to reduce the price I eliminated the front label and the reducer and brushed Aluminum top that on the 2 oz size. 

I’ll take any feedback or suggestions you have on this.

That’s a good looking Brush and razor. I’m glad your enjoying the Russian Tea. The nice thing about the Unscented is you can use it with any scented shave soaps.
