I just feel for ChiefBroom and all his hard work when a post like this comes up that could be, well, 'suspect' in its legitimacy (i.e. 2 posts on DFS, both involving this amazing new brush that everyone should try). I have and enjoy a couple knots/brushes from overseas, but I don't think they're nearly as good as the nicer products that these are being compared to.
We're in a brave new world with so many good products, but I do think the cream rises to the top  :-)

I understand, and any time this sort of thing comes along, it should be brought to the membership's attention.

I'd peel that ugly sticker off anyway, HighSpeed. Also, I don't think you'd EVER find a Paladin or Shavemac with blemishes like that. Let us know how the knot performs once you shave with it.

I can't help but notice that members like Paladin (ChiefBroom) and Brad Sears (ESB Brush) have MERCHANT after their name in posts. Based on the DSCOSMETIC glowing review, apparently that requirement is optional.

DSC 22x55 Extra Dense ST - UNBOXING/FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The second DSCosmetic brush arrived today, leaving me wondering what to expect, but hopeful.  This one was unblemished, and it too matches the AliExpress product page well.  Here are the measurements I made, again in the form (my brush)/(AliExpress product page):

Knot (measured at the handle):   21.6/22
  Loft:   56/55
  Height:   104/100
Max width:  35.3 / not specified
  Handle waist:   25.7/not specified

Unlike the first brush, this one arrived inside an unblemished presentation case - nothing fancy, but fine enough.

It is a simple brush - for a $26 sivertip, why not? - but it looks well enough made.

I am really interested to take this for a spin.  Dry against the face, it feels very smooth, and while the picture does not say "extra density" to me, the backbone does.

Until next time ...

Thanks. I totally missed that! There appears to be an extra letter, either an "n" or possibly "r" would be my guess.
