Update. I got my hands on a pack of Dorco Prime Platinum blades!!! They are amazing! Smoother, sharper, no tug or pull. They sell 100 packs on ebay for around ten bucks so I say it is worth it if you are shopping for new blades. Try a blade has them too if you want to try before stocking up.
I tried a Dorco single edge in my GEM Micromatic Open Comb.
My comments were the same as Tristan's as I happily shaved with it. "They are amazing! Smoother, sharper, no tug or pull. "
After three passes I was amazed!
It had not removed or even shortened a single whisker!
As I told Dorco in a letter to them: "It might be good for removing paint splatter from a window pane."

Glenn, I would have to agree. I have tried both the Dorco 300 and the Dorco 301 and they are simply not good (at least for me). Now comes this latest Dorco effort. Frankly, I'd have to see at least half a dozen enthusiastic reviews and almost no bad ones before I'd even consider buying them to try.

Meanwhile, I just got a sample pack of Voskhod blades with I super cool red tip that I bought. Think I'll pour me some vodka and lather up. Nostrovia!

Tovarishch, Glen.
But beware.
That red tip may be for the same reason the Brits long ago adopted red coats.
To obscure the blood.
Better stick with Moonlight Serenade. Sheer perfection.
