Re Rockwell, I have the 6c coming, the zamak little brother. Hear good things. As if I needed more razors... weight difference between this and the SS 6S isn't much, 100 v 113 grams I read.

And the OneBlade, I agree with you, Nick. It shaves more than ok, not the most efficient but always smooth. It just wasn't exciting and didn't give that immediacy and directness in blade feel as many of my other razors do. That and the blade propriety issue -- I sold it on. I also had the v1. For those for whom it fits the bill, it's the best there is, though. Quite a few have even relinquished their chase for more razors. But back on topic!

It is always a good thing for consumers to know what, how and where their purchases come from. Zamack or 302 stainless, I don't want my face swelling from a GMO breakfast harvested by a displaced first peoples slave and have to grow a beard while being treated.

Chris, I think it's almost impossible to have that kind of knowledge. And if we do have it, we can't be sure it's accurate.

By the way, speaking of the Rockwell, I was informed that it won't be available at least until the end of the year. I was indirectly accused the other day of spreading panic. Like I care. Anyway.

I am still enjoying my Weber DLC heads after more than six years, and, I am, also, enjoying the new Blackbirds.
The quality of the steel is irrelevant to me as long as it provides me with good shaves. If it, aesthetically, looks beautiful, then that is a bonus for my SOTD pics. Shy

I just love short stories. I just finished THE SHAH NAMA by FHARTOUSI, the Zoroastrian epic od Persia. My Iranian friends looked at me as quite mad. You read all that? Yes, I did. it is only 990 pages.
