DG B15

Just sent a couple brushes in for knotting and got 2 B15’s and one B16. Anyone have either of these? Haven’t done one in a while. Think the last brush I got knotted with a DG was a 30mm B11. Any thoughts on the B15 and B16 and any comparisons to other B knots?

I have two B15s and enjoy them. I'm not sure what other brushes you have so I can't compare them. But B15 has a mid backbone, soft (not as soft as B14), easy to splay, and great flow through. I have not tried B16 yet. But I hear it's an in-between B13-B14 type of knot. I like the B15 enough that I would buy another.

Thanks man! I have just about every hand tied knot made. I still have a B2, B3, B4, B6, B7, and B11. I have sold so many others that I can’t even count. The only one I have never tried is a B1. I still feel that my Rhodium knotted brushes (think I have 21 or 22) are the best brushes that I own and also, all of my Turn N’ Shave hand tied knotted brushes. My Varlet’s are also outstanding. Anyway, looking forward to trying the B15 and B16.

I have one 27mm Varlet XD and love it. What TNS brushes do you have? I really love TNS brushes and own a M1,M2,L3,L4, and H4. I lean toward liking the L4/H4 the best so far. I have never owned a Rhodium and gave up on one some what as you never see them forsale and I have heard that people are still waiting on brushes that they paid for over a year ago. If you have that many Rhodim bruhses you must have a beaustiful collection.

Thanks, I have 2 Varlet 32XD brushes and, as far as TNS, Milton is my Dude and love his knots. I have 2 M1’s, 3 M2’s, 2 L3’s, 4 L4’s and 1 M5 with 3 more L5’s being done during the holidays. I was fortunate to get to know Srdjan at Rhodium knots early on and that’s why I have so many. He was doing all of my handles at one time. He has gone completely dark during the pandemic and we all think he has had some health issue.
