DecemBoar Shave #7

Razor: Muhle Rocca
Blade: Rapira Lux
Brush: Omega 10077
Soap: Stirling Soap Co. Barbershop
AS: Skin Bracer

Nothing makes me smell like I just walked out of Pete's Barbershop in 1975 like this classic. Even has the faint hint of cigarrette smoke. Why do I have a sudden urge for an Orange Tootsie Pop?

Used my Zenith unbleached boar today with the velcro strap. It made a floppy wonderful brush into a soft, luxurious brush.

WOW!! A piece of living history, for shorn! Alas, I was using Barbasol in the red & white can and a Trac II (all us "men" in the house got one in the late 70s. That's accurate marketing and done without cookies and web tracking!).

GEM Flying Wing
Personna GEM (7) Friday, (2) Saturday, through the magic of blade changing!
Ending up a week of Mike's unscented. Love this soap for its slickness.

The shave was just a bit too tuggy at the end, so binned the blade and pulled one out from the Sabre. I am again impressed, even with the tugginess, with how close the Flying Wing gets without blade feel! To quote a fast food chain, I'm Lovin' It!

Used the Semogue 1305 a couple of days ago. I love this brush. It’s well broken in and does a superb job.  All the images are of soaked bristles

That was the first I bought for this DecemBoar event. All of these 22mm Semogue are absolutely wonderful. Those guys REALLY know how to make a brush.
