That's certainly an excellent razor. To answer the OP question, vintage is better to some, modern is better to some, some modern & vintage are better to some. Hope that clears it up.
But really, many, including myself, fell into the vintage rabbit hole. But besides spending a couple of dollars in that rabbit hole, I hope everyone found a really good razor. I know I did many times over. Now the same can be said for the modern camp, of which I also belong to that camp as well. And I have several moderns I think shave very well. Currently I reside in the vintage rabbit hole, so if you see me, send money!!!
