DE blades and their YMMV status

Exactly, chazt, which is why YMMV is truer of blades than just about any other aspect of wet shaving hardware or software.

I am with Charlie in that I like Crystals in Merkur and EJ/Muhle heads but get tugging in just about all others tried.

Feathers are sharp enough for my beard and seem to work decent if not great across my razors.

Amazing the differences we all experience and classic YMMV.
