Razor: Weck Gem
Blade: Gem (2)
Brush: Teton Zen Series "Bob Ross"
Soap: Lakewood SOCP (1508.5 Project on Steroids)
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Clubman Citrus Musk
Fragrance: CK One

So I have the WeckGem razor repaired and ready to go for this mornings shave as well as sticking with the SOCP soap. I may covert this 1508.5 into a moderate 3017 and use daily with a few exceptions here and there when needed for my sanity. We actually have doughnut hole break thru this morning.

The razor is easy to get the blade in and positioned. It has blade stops that protect from the corners of the blade. At first it feels light like I'm shaving with a toy but the cutting takes over and you realize it's not a toy but just a light razor (blade holder) At first I was also kinda being careful for fear the head would snap again as it arrived to me but in no time I was just gliding around and it was doing it's think. The epoxy was doing it's job now and the 2 pieces were one. It's easy to find the angle and is comfortable to maintain the angle. The shave is mild for a Gem blade and encouraged you to buff and chase the baby. It was caught with ease and I'm smooth and Velveteen as Jeff Jgreenepa would say. Topped off with the Citrus Musk again and CK One. While shaving and feeling how mild it was, I was thinking maybe I need the 3 dot instead of the 2. No worries there, the 2 did the job with comfort so why mess with a good thing. I'll give this a couple/few more shaves and then get it to the next pass participant. Have a great day Shavers !!!

Rinse, lather and repeat..............................................Could feel the stubble return early with a vengeance last night and had an early start to today. a quick 2 pass shave yesterday evening let me sleep until 4:30 instead of getting up early enough t be alert and shave. So I'm managing a nice and close shave with this little "Gem" (see what I did there) but it isn't getting me close enough for the longevity I like. I asked Roger about the Weck part of the WeckGem name. He said even though it doesn't resemble it much it is taken from the Weck Med Prep SE Razor. Not many know of that one but I owned 1 and let it go to a so-called friend that proved otherwise. I should have kept it even though I didn't use it much as they are a rare bird and don't come around often. They use a Hair Shaper Blade. I am on the fence on whether I will use this 1 more time tomorrow or get it in the mail, but will have it mailed to the next in line by Friday for sure. That's all I have for you this early. Out the door in a few. Have a great day everyone !

Oh man ... that is way too early. I am not a morning person and I struggle with 5:30am.

Razor: Lupo .95
Blade: Wizamet (2)
Brush: Techichi The Hive
Soap: Lakewood SOCP (1508.5 Project on Steroids)
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Nivea 2 into 1 Splash
Fragrance: Terre D'Hermes EDP

What a difference when you can sleep till 5-5:30 am. Aaaahhh, and a great shave. Continuing with the 1508.5 on steroids and boredom is at bay for now as I'm seeing progress. Can I run it out till done only time will tell. I wanted to run the Lupo Dual Comb on the .95 SB side only and it confirmed that of all the options that were recently available, the .95 SB is the best fit for me. Sold Out but have a lead on one that hopefully is still available for me to purchase. Then the Dual Comb base plate will be for sale and perhaps the .72 as well. Have a sample of the TDH EDP to compare to my EdT and will give thoughts on that when I wear for awhile. Pic is with my 1st motorcycle..........literally the one I played with as a kid. My mom made me buy one on ebay to trade her for it because she wanted one in the set for the grandkids to play with. Thanks Mike (My Brother with the kids) Hope everyone has a stupendous day !

I used to have a brush like that. The missus tried it and I never got it back.

That’s cool that you still have that motorcycle.
