Up for trade initially for some hardware, be that nice razors or brushes. A made in England open comb Aristocrat with case. This was one of those grail razors I sought from afar but unfortunately the shave is a touch too aggressive for me.

Hopefully the photos show the overall condition but I'd say it was a fair user grade condition with some plate loss. The mechanism is showing its age and probably wants looking at by someone with more knowledge than myself. One door is a little lazy and doesn't quite close down as tight as the other but this doesn't affect the shave.

Happy to consider trades at first but will also consider cash offers as well if no suitable trades come along. Please send me a PM with your offer. This will be listed elsewhere. I am based in the UK.

Dang.

Don't give up on trying to find a nice open comb British Aristocrat. They're all different. I've had a couple. Each one shaved different. Most were on the mild side while being very effective. One I had was crazy aggressive though. They were assembled by hand and have much more variations than later models.

They're beautiful razors. There's several variations of them too. Plating, handle design, accessories, etc. A very interesting piece. So much history.

GLWTS.

Thanks. I was hoping it might shave more like a LC New, but this seems more like the SC New which I didn't get on with. At least I know there is some variation in the models. Maybe a USA one might fit me better.
