The lovely ML and I attended the Commonwealth Pen Show today.

It was in a larger room than the last 3 years. That is good for the show and good for the hobby.
This is the crowd

ML's 3 new Pens.

A Waterman "Necklace" pen from approximately 1920s.

A Laban Rainbow Mother of Pearl in Blue.

And a Grifos "Fleur de Lis".
This is an Italian made pen. We had never heard of them. The pen is exquisite in real life. Beautifully balanced and writes like a dream.

A Levenger no longer produced pen display case.

It is a glass fronted frame. The pen holder portion drops write in.
Also in this picture are two small bottles of ink. One is a CPS commemorative ink given out free by Noodlers Inks. It is called Boston Brahim Blue and was created just for the 2017 CPS.
The other ink is Iroshisuki Yamu Boda in a small size. The bottle is as classy as the full size bottkes.

This is the case filled with some of ML's pens.

It does look nice. ML stated it looked boring with all blue pens. AS "Blue" is the only criteria for ML to purchase a pen this is not surprising. I wisely did not mention this to ML Big Grin

This is ML. Contrary to popular belief.... I do have other pens that are not blue. They are just kept in this cherry pen holder my daughter gave me last year so you can see them better. Once in a Blue Moon,  (Phil justs groaned; even your references are blue ) Confused2 I actually purchase something other than blue.  Angel[Image: xdk34gF.jpg]

That is some beautiful fountain pen gear. The cherry wood rack is striking, as are the pens.

so jealous right now......

I've recently ordered several from goulet in the last 6-8 weeks, and am now waiting on the arrival of 2 more for myself and one for a good friend. They should be here in a couple of days. Cool

Ohh. You'll have to post pics of your new pens.

ML has been very good. I offered on numerous occasions to let her have the pens now but she set them aside for Christmas.Such discipline.
