So I recently saw this youtube video by geofatboy that talked about rinsing the razor under cold water instead of hot water. This apparently prevents razor burns.
Have been trying it and I must say there seems to be something here. I usually get good clean shaves almost always irrespective of the razor used. I therefore depend on my alum block to tell me how to rate the shave. Too much burn...not so good and post shave feel not so great.... no burn...thats an excellent shave.
I am noticing that since i started rinsing my razor in cold water and taking cold metal to the face, the alum seems to give great feedback and post shave feel is always superb. Cold metal to the skin also surprisingly feels good.
Anyone tried this? Would like to hear your experience.
