I know, not the original, but by all accounts is pretty much an exact match to Shulton Old Spice. Not including Reserve, these classics don't have all the skin care goodies that we enjoy in our modern aftershaves, but I do like the bracing alcohol hit and the scents.
+1 I love Barrister's Reserve Spice, and so does she whose opinion matters most. I also like the bracing alcohol and the skin food in this and other modern aftershaves.

Pinaud Clubman is pleasant but distinct second for me (among the classics). As I get older, I find it can be overpowering unless used sparingly. Not so with the B&M Spice.

When I finally gave up the butts my senses of taste and smell were "Born Again". Thus began my obsession with aftershaves.

Love the Classics: I'm 58; been using Skin Bracer for 40+ years and will continue to use it. Other classics that have made it onto my shelf in the last year: Clubman: classic, SR, musk, osage rub. AV: blue, musk, sport. Barbasol: Brisk. I wish I could find some Pacific Rush that I could afford.....I'm sorry, but I'm not about to pay $20+ for a $2 AS. I also love Florida Water....it's a cool old timee looking bottle/label and the smell is unique and engaging.
I'd like to add Old Spice to the list but I read over & over that the stuff on the drugstore shelf is watered down crap. Maybe I'll run across an old bottle somewhere.
Brut...I don't know why I don't have it....I'll add it to my "BUY" list. It's been around forever....gotta have something going for it.
What else am I missing from the classics?

My favorite classic is Hawaiian Surf which is NLA, but I still have half a bottle. After that it would be Clubman Citrus Musk and Lime Sec, followed by Royall Lyme which is still available. Another of my favorite classics (which has been around for 40 years) is Shiseido Bravas, which is still available in Japan or Ebay.

And my buddy let me try his classic hai karate.
He also let me try the Williams aqua velva. But just not a go for me.
