No one here bought a Legacy in AL?
Was looking forward to some impressions.

I wanted to buy an AL version but only want the Imperial handle and he isn’t making that one.

Got a Herringbone on the way but eight days and it hasn’t left the States yet

Ron said the imperial handle takes 2x as long to mfg as herringbone and pineapple twist.  It will never go on even the raw Ti at 200 let alone the Al.

Yeah, I asked him about it and that’s what he said. I definitely don’t mind paying the premium for that handle but see why he doesn’t want to make them.

The herringbone looks like a nice simple design to me....and Im sure the grip is rock solid.

I was looking at close-ups of the Imperial and came away unimpressed...it's quite intricate
but looking at other handle designs in that same vein, I find the filigree patterns of ye olde Gillette Bostonian,
1909 ABC and 1928 Deluxe Set handles a lot more elegant, sophisticated and timeless.

In person the imperial is impressive to me.  The industrial handle I also really like the looks of.

Herringbone and pineapple twist are plenty grippy too.

I’ve held all but the industrial (in Ti), which is just a take on the herringbone.

Still, I’d give the nod to imperial for its uniqueness for my taste.

Tremendous debut outing with this Ti raw.  Need to spend more time with it, but soooo smooth and great efficiency……….
