By this I would think the scents have staying power? Can you comment on this?

Thanks!

Yes they do. Not overwhelming, even on application but do last. In fact, prior to leaving the office yesterday I wiped my face with a moist towel to clear a day of meetings and in reinvigorated the scent.

I suspect I'm a bit older than you - I was at one of the Hotel California tour concerts in 1978 and it was great. I was also at the Bowie Serious Moonlight tour in 1984 - they're all dying. Bummer. I don't listen to that music much these days but it was significant at key points in my life. My final live concert was a couple of years ago, Zac Brown Band, great show but my hearing loss/distortion makes these shows unpleasant. Such is life.

I received the latest Chatillon Lux delivery today, Thanks for the samples and the rest - that women's salve smells great, my wife will love it. I was thinking about your branding connection to St. Louis history and had an idea for a line - take this for what its worth but I was thinking about how much I like art deco/jazz age design motifs and I did some google searching with St Louis and art deco and I found that there are several very cool art deco buildings in St. Louis - most of them have fallen into disrepair but you can still see the beauty in the images so I got to thinking that it would be cool if CL did a line focusing on the city in the 1920s - tough times, prohibition hit the breweries and distilleries of St. Louis very hard but the Spirit of St. Louis (Lindeberg) prevailed. So there it is, very proto-concept and I admit I'm selfish as I personally find that time period very interesting.
Thanks,
Marko

hawns, I tried the Colonia Balsamica aftershave sample this morning - it is very nice, I really like it. Great scent and a really nice conditioning soothing face feel. A bit more of the burn than the toners have but a nice burn and you expect that with an alcohol based aftershave. The fragrance is both more traditional than some of your other scents and still unique in that Chatillon Lux way if that makes sense. Love it.
Cheers,
Marko

It's funny you should mention that. My firm did an app for a recent exhibit at the Saint Louis Art Museum called St. Louis Modern. It was all about that era starting with a contingency that visited a modern design expo in Paris in the 20s. Got into Charles Eames' history in St. Louis along with all of those cool Art Deco homes, as well as the 50th anniversary of The Arch. The worst was one amazing home that got torn down to build a boring cookie cutter home. I loved learning about all that stuff and really should look into that.

And yeah, I'm a 80s/90s kid, so my first real exposure to the Eagles was the Hell Freezes Over thing on VH1. So I am speaking as an outsider on that one.

For some reason this didn't show up on the app when I was checking last night, but that is definitely accurate and a reason why we're only going to do that scent for the spring season. I love Colonia-style scents, so I was excited to make it, but we don't feel as much ownership over it, so it that's why it's only a seasonal.

I just threw up a blog last night about our new release schedule, in fact:
