They're showing SOLD OUT with remaining stock to go on sale June 20 - I'm assuming the sold out is just a place holder.

Also got a nice Delor de Treget soap.  Will need to grab an aftershave to go with...

All good stuff.  Smile

Hi BoarderPhreak , did you get the DdT soap from SS's website or at the meet up? They're showing sold out right now.

Hi hawns.  Today, I used the I Love STL Aftershave that you made especially for the meet-up and it is amazing!  I really like the scent and it lingers for a while, which is great.  It feels very nice on my freshly shaved face.  While I was fortunate enough to be at the St. Louis meet-up to get a bottle, have you thought about putting it in your regular lineup?

Yeah it turns out I was a bit sleep deprived last night and not reading carefully, haha. Crap. Sorry. It's on sale the 20th Smile

You know, it's funny. I just set out to make something that I thought would be generally agreeable, clean and fresh smelling, and something that the greatest number of people possible could enjoy so that everyone would leave happy. I ended up being surprisingly pleased with the result, myself. I previously was pretty adamant about restricting the scent to just meetup attendees so that we could all have something special to share for just us, but maybe next year if I make a new exclusive scent for the meetup I could put out this scent.

For the moment, however, I want to keep it amongst us. To paraphrase the Las Vegas ads, what happens in STL, shaves in STL

I've got a question regarding essential oils. I don't know much about essential oils, but I've read they can be beneficial in small doses. I've read that it can be unsafe to use too much ess. oil in a number of different applications, including on skin. I really enjoy CL alcohol-free aftershaves and use them pretty regularly. I know they've got other ingredients that are good for skin, but I'm curious to hear what is known about the amount of essential oils in the aftershave and if there's any truth to the danger involved in applying ess. oil to the skin. Thank you.

Anything in large amounts can be dangerous. The amount of fragrance that I use is in such small proportions that any skin benefits would not be felt at that small of a concentration. It is used solely for olfactory pleasure. Nothing more and nothing less.
