To save everybody the trouble, there must have been an email to existing customers as every plate except 1 is sold out. No parts available either.

Anybody have experience with the lvl 1? Curious if its any good. I have never used it.

I have used all of the other plates (Everyday, 2, 3). Supposedly the lvl 1 is milder than the Everyday.

Level 1 is very mild I like it but YMMV…Gen1 Lv1 is smooth as Butter  Happy2

Can’t wait to see how long it will take for the flippers to post some for sale at ridiculous asking prices. Hopefully nobody caves and gives them the satisfaction.

Agreed again they are highly sought and not cheap especially Gen1 Lvl1 as it will never be made again!

It really is too bad that he won’t be making razors anymore, they are great and it always sucks when artisans no longer can or want to continue their craft. I know that my comment above about flipping probably sounds a little off-tune in that regard, since it wasn’t at all in line with what Alan was discussing in starting this thread. I just know that it’s bound to happen, and it’s gotten more prevalent that it bugs me quite a bit when I see it so often (more than it should, I know I shouldn’t sweat “the small stuff”). I’ve always thought that flipping hardware like that is somewhat disrespectful to the artisan, let alone the people in the wetshaving community. Even now I just saw a couple things get listed here that I know someone is trying to make 100% profit on, and there are clearly folks that have no forum activity other than flippIng things from one group to another.
I dunno, just makes these groups less interesting when there’s fewer engaging discussions and more activity trying to make a profit off another member. I’ll probably get booted at some point for calling people out, maybe it will be a sign that less time on wetshaving forums is needed

Well said on everything you mentioned above I completely agree with you 100%

I personally think he made one of the best razors ever made with his artisanal skills!!
