Catie's Bubbles LMR was the second shave soap I ever purchased, and Soapy Bathman was the first. Both artisans are excellent, but only Soapy Bathman is in my den at the moment. I've been meaning to try the new CB and I will get around to it eventually. I was a big fan of the old formula for all of the reasons listed by the OP.

That was one of my all time favorite scents. I really need to buy it again. Thanks for sharing. I forgot all about that one for some reason.

LTV scent profile. Oh boy I stink at this but I'll give it a go. Would definitely put it in the fougere category of smells. I pick up oak moss, wood, and patchouli base with a very bright green top. Fern and citrus? It's similar to Tiki Fougere but brighter. Very nicely done but my nose is not trained enough to pick out all the many notes.

Very good soap (the Luxury Soap line), but not the best in the vegan base territory IMHO. But I like their scents, especially the Pine Barrens one.

I love Catie's Bubbles. LPV and LTV have been great to me. Want to try Marche du Rasage or a barbershop or vetiver of some type from them soon. Any suggestions?

I really like the ones you shared. I also like Un jour Gris, Celtic Knot, and Ocean Grove.

I'm not aware of a CB barbershop scent. Tonsorial Parlor maybe? For vetiver, 322 is supposed to be really good but it was a limited edition and can only be found now on BSTs. Another soap that includes vetiver is Pine Barrens.

Thanks! I was curious about that one!

Went with a CB soap today for the first time in a while (Florentine Fern). I think a previous soap I had used might have been an older version with slightly different ingredients that left me a little underwhelmed, this one was lights out. Left a great post-shave feel, will make sure to reach for this one more often.
I also have the matching aftershave, and I think the soap has more of a grassy scent and less of the fennel/anise that you get in the AS.

They make a flanker to Tonsorial Parlor called Tonsorium. Of the two I prefer the former as the citrus is more vibrant. I am on a CB sample binge as of late as Groomatorium sells beaucoup samples for $2 and change. So far Tonsorial Parlor & La Terre Verte lead the pack.

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.
