Thanks again for the ability to get in on the passaround earlier this year. The Carbon razors is very suitable for my face so I have enjoyed finding them and using them this year. Some of you saw that Sean sent me a prototype of the minus base plate after my turn on the passaround. I decided to buy one of the stainless steel production minus base plates when they were made available. I sent out on loan my ++ base plate to a friend while I am spending this month really enjoying daily shaving with the minus plate. It works well and I have been pretty much been using Kai the last couple weeks. Still hoping sometime in the new year we can see some update on a +++ base plate. I think I may like that but with having the 0.68, ++ and “-“, I’m pretty solid for the new year. Probably won’t be looking into new razors for the near future. If anything, next year I am sure to dabble with straight shaving again but I am very satisfied with the results the Carbon geometry gives my shaves, close and comfortable. Here's the current pass around list for the Carbon razor. This pass around will include 1 handle, 1 top cap and 3 base plates: the original base plate plus 2 new base plates Carbon has designed.

Since there's only 1 razor being passed around, please try to get the razor sent out to the next person via priority mail after 7 days of usage so things move along at a decent pace.

**Please spray the complete razor down with alcohol or something similar before shipping it out to the next person and upon receiving it!**

Yes,  I had my maiden shave with the ++ yesterday and was incredible!!!    Need to now read up the difference between the plates to see what to use next.  I think I will need a carbon in my future, based on first shave alone ; )

I have used the “-“ plate for a few weeks now. Wow, perfect daily driver for me. Just enough blade feel to guide me along but the right level of exposure and gap to make the morning shave a breeze. I could easily use this razor for months and not get tired of it. For me, the minus plate has the perfect specs. Thank you for making it available. Now I want the “web” edition. That looks killer!
