Carbon Shaving handle question...

I have a Carbon Titan, which is also my favorite razor.  I recently purchased another Carbon razor on the forum.  It has a Ti head and a handle that looks exactly like my Titan handle, i.e. carbon fiber in the middle.  I was told by the seller that the handle was Ti and carbon fiber.  My Titan handle weighs 16 grams, the new one is 32 grams.  I reached out to Sean at Carbon to ask about this but he hasn't gotten back to me.
Is anyone here aware of a handle that looks like the Titan but weighs twice as much?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The heavier handle might be Steel rather than Titanium.
