The razor was shipped out a few days ago to the next participant.
First of all, thank you to Carbon Shaving and Andrew for putting on the passaround.
I took part in the previous passaround and loved the original baseplate, but couldn't seem to get a good shave with the "+" or "++" plates. They had such good reviews elsewhere, I figured I was missing something. When I saw the opportunity to try them again, I was 100% in.
I started off using the "++" baseplate and a new Gillette platinum blade. I was able to get 3 great shaves with it. I think I may have been using too steep of an angle before. It was smooth and efficient, more efficient than one would expect given the smoothness. The razor is very light and nimble, and easy to whip around your face. I never felt like I would get cut or suffer irritation, which makes me think this is a very safe razor.
Next I wanted to use the "-" plate, as that hadn't been included on the previous passaround. I had 3 days of growth and it easily handled it. It honestly had more blade feel and was more efficient than I expected, but in a pleasant way. It was still less efficient than the "original" plate, but wasn't super angle specific and handled thicker growth with ease.
Lastly, I used the original plate one more time. It is still my favorite plate with a good amount of blade feel, and being fairly efficient.
I used the included soap and balm for two shaves. Never having used an eleven soap before, it was very good! The lather was dense and slick, and it was easy to build. The scent was on the mild side and a pleasant barbershop. The balm was calming and light enough to where it absorbed quickly. I would 100% consider purchasing an "Eleven" set if I saw a scent that I loved.

Hello Marhos24 nice review! I think the geometry on the "-" minus plate is pretty versatile. Your comment mentioning not needing specific angle....I had a similar thought when I first used it. I found the cutting angle to be really intuitive and may have said it was immediate as if you find the blades edge so easily. I chose to make the investment in a copper razor earlier this year and decided on the minus base plate and I think I made the right decision for how the extra weight and heft makes up for the softer shave using the reduced blade feel. I can see how many users that have shared their reviews seem to like the original plate a bit more commonly. I have used the 0.68 original plates more this year but I tend to really be attentive when I use them. If I over shave, it will give me razor burn. The + and ++ base plates tend to be easier on my skin so I use those a little bit more frequently.

Thanks Zach! Yeah, I was impressed. Usually the mild versions of razors have a narrow cutting angle, not the case here. And I could definately see how the "+" and "++" could be easier on your skin.
Just wanted to report I received razor and messaged Sean CarbonShavingCo. that one of the plates indeed has rust spots. I’ll send him some pics.
I really like how the Carbon Web looks. Will report soon on the shaves.
(Apologize - my box was full, had to delete so much, now anyone can feel free to message me)

I actually went Carbon Crazy this month. I purchased a Copper .68 (Rome), a web Ti .68 (for my travel razor), a + and ++ Ti non-web plates and a leather travel case.
This is the copper which is just gorgeous. I will likely keep it without much patina (lightly polished).

First thank you for the passaround Andrew and a Big Thanks to Sean over at Carbon Shaving. I had 2 sweet shaves so far with the Ti web Carbon. I tried the ++ and the - plate. Both got me to BBS 3 passes but the journey was different. Both are very smooth during the 3 passes. There’s more blade feel on the ++ plate, and the - is almost no blade feel, but I feel very slightly to just let me know where I am at. I can’t believe how much I like the -, which took me by surprise. Lasted the same amount of time from last shave. The - plate has a great feel especially against the grain. What a great release. I overlooked it as I have the + & ++ Ti plates, but not webbed. I couldn’t tell any performance differences but it looks a hell lot cooler. Same blade support for webbed vs non-webbed.
I also received my Copper Nan ++ from Sean which I’m super stoked about. I missed the last 2 releases. Sean has great customer support and even messaged me about the condition of one of the plates for this passaround. He also has been in close contact when I reached out earlier this year asking when the Copper will be re-released. Nothing But praise. Next up + plate Ti Webbed, stay tuned. Enjoy your shaves DFS Gents.
The minus base plate geometry is versatile. Nice review Calm_Shaver. Looking forward to your thoughts on the "+" base plate. Cheers

Bittersweet, last shave this past weekend with my favorite plate, + Ti webbed plate. I shipped it out yesterday to next participant and provided tracking info.
My review: This plate is my goldilocks in the Ti format. I don’t know why as I always thought it was the ++ plate.
My rating for this Incredible (+) razor is as follows:
smoothness 10/10 - so smooth, the feel on the skin feels like velvet.
Maneuverability - This format with the carbon fiber handle is even lighter than my Ti format. 9/10, I prefer a little bit of the added extra weight from R2 Ti handle. It feels like an Aluminum razor weight wise, but I did enjoy it.
Build quality-9/10 - great tolerances and machining. Polish is much improved from earlier versions. Good job on this improvement.
Looks wise- 10/10 - This razor is Beaut! Looks fast like a Carbon Fiber McLaren P1.
Efficiency-7/10 - + plate is efficient, ++ plate is a little more efficient.
Excellent razor, exceeded my expectations and highly recommend it. Hence I have 2 Carbons — Ti with both + & ++ plates and Copper ++ NaN.
