League I'm trying to wrap my head around this. So you got refunded (minus the discrepancy) before having send the BBS-1 back first? Because in general one gets a refund after the sender/seller gets the item back. So you got lucky if that's the case.

I'm on no one's side here. I just think the entire community can learn something from incidents like this.
It's not about jumping to any conclusions without seeing both sides.

The passage you have posted has some provocative and inappropriate language but without knowing what was said earlier it's hard
to be sure what that was in response to.

The part that is hard to understand is the "wrong product that I didn't want" bit....the seller's pictures, while blurry, look like a BBS-1 to me.
You didn't provide any of your pictures. What was wrong with what you received?

It seems a bit odd that you know what a Tibam handle looks like but accepted the buyers pictures as an authentic BBS-1

Hopefully the seller will also be forthcoming with information.

Really? Here's the message I sent you and Andrew:

The guy who put up this want to buy thread stands accused of bilking a member here out of a
BBS-1 razor. I found out about it purely by chance and although its none of my business, I felt it
may be in the interest of members here."

It clearly shows that I am undecided about what's going on here.

I merely stated you weren't siding with him which is clear from the message. Don't make it something it's not and feel free to refrain from messaging me in the future.

Why would I be siding with the buyer (or anyone) if I don't know entirely what transpired?

The private message was sent to you as it was known that you are a forum moderator...I have no interest in messaging you LOL

Good to know your current status thanks!

You clearly have trouble in comprehension skill area. I did not say you were siding with him. I said that your message indicated that you were not siding with him to somebody that thought you were. End of discussion with you. By the way moderators names are in red, maybe this will help you in the future. I'm done with you

Please don't make this about you. It's about a serious incident that is in the community's interest.

Could the $ 97 difference be due to PayPal's currency exchange rate and fees? The buyer agreed to these fees when making the purchase, so this issue is between PayPal and the buyer.

Nevertheless, the seller must first receive the returned item before issuing a refund. If the buyer wishes for an immediate refund, you could suggest that they open a dispute and agree to the return request. The refund will still be processed once you have received the item back. The seller will cover the cost of return shipping, but not the currency exchange fees.
