I think that is a beautiful piece of furniture and it makes a great shaving storage cabinet. I do have a question. Do you allow your brushes to completely dry before storing them inside of the cabinet or is there some ventilation that I am not seeing? Without being out in the air they could remain damp. Still and all beautiful piece of furniture.
I think there must be enough natural ventilation (it's not airtight) and the number of brushes in rotation to allow for adequate drying.
I've never picked up a brush that wasn't completely dry, nor ever had any problems at all with dampness.
