Brush Stand

Any idea what’s the most versatile brush stand that wound fit most of brushes to dry out 

I’m trying to figure out what’s the best to get just the stand for brush alone


Here is what I found 

If the purpose is primarily to dry out the brush you don't need a stand to do it. You can keep your brush upright and it shall do the job on its own.

You may otherwise check Shavemac or a thater metal stand.

Thanks for reply I taught putting brush upside down it’s better and dry faster or maybe not lol

Is it bad for badger hair to leave brush like that

I towel dry my brushes after I have shaved and keep them upright for a day or two between shaves. Instead of a brush stand I would suggest to buy an additional brush..

I do have many brushes in rotation and just wasn't sure what's the best way to dry em up??

• Ensure the shaving brush knot is completely rinsed free of ALL soap or cream residue post shave – Use clear warm water and gently squeeze the base of the knot to determine if all remnants are gone (This will prevent the build-up of mildew).
  
• Shake the brush gently & lightly stroke the bristles against a very soft towel to remove any excess moisture present within the knot.
  
• Leave to stand or hang (either is perfectly fine) in a well ventilated area, preferably very near to an open window. Insufficient drying time between shaves WILL result in mildew deep within the knot and eventual hair loss.
  
• Try an alternate between two brushes if possible to allow a 48 hour drying period.
  

The majority of their brushes are badger, and a few synthetics.
As far as hanging vs. standing goes, I imagine that if hanging was important they would all round off the end of the handle.

Thank you for reply that's Great and will follow that, Great to see Canadians here I just moved recently from Ottawa to Gatineau. Also I'm new here and hope to find some stuff to buy soon enough when it allows me. I'm looking for used Wolf Whiskers Brush hope I can find some here.

As has been mentioned, you don't need a stand to dry your brushes. Just lightly dry them on a towel with a few strokes, then allow them to dry upright.

By the way, why are you looking for a Wolf Whiskers brush? Do you just want the handle?

Thank you for reply kindly and I just wasn’t sure 
I didn’t know I could just let it sit upright with wet hairs in my head it needed to be upside down to dry lol

But hey everyday to learn something!!

And for wolf whiskers yes I would be happy just with the handle it I could find it..

Let me know I’ll like to get one for my 40 birthday coming soon..

Why I’m looking for wolf whiskers I always wanted to have one in my den if I could find used I’ll be happy. I’m new here great community and we can help each other and share opinions on wet shaving.
