The other day I received a M&F Arley and 2XL from Brad Sears. I am very impressed with craftsmanship Brad does on the handles. These brushes use two resins and I think they came out great. The ivory has some fine lines in it that adds to the aesthetics. It doesn't show up that well in my amateur photography. As for the knots, the Arley has a blonde badger and the 2XL has a finest. After 3 years of traditional shaving my AD's are cured, except for SBAD. Brad's collaboration with Lee Sabini is not helping this disorder.

How does the finest feel/compare with the blond, I have the Arley in blond, I was considering an XL in finest for my next one.

I haven't used the Arley yet. I have a couple finest and the tips are soft, the knots are dense and there is ample backbone. Once I use it, I'll report back. I have to get the funk out of it first.
