Ladies and Gents, tried this morning, for the first time, a Try-on Boar brush Eric (MaineYooper) sent me.
Yesterday I gave it a lather clean from its journey and today I soaked it while showering. I had very little expectations giving that I was using a very soft synthetic brush.
I bowl lathered and it was identical to the synthetic in time and quality (Stirling soap). I was expecting a rough application but what a surprise! Brush was super soft in aplicating on face, it did retain much more lather on the brush and was heavier at hand, not that this was a problem.
4 passes and BBS, excellent experience.

I now worry that this is gonna send me down the Rabbit Hole since I must try a Badger too

I’d like to thank Eric for taking the initiative to send me his brush.

Fantastic report, Brains! Boars, when softened, are truly a special brush and we see why our forefathers liked them, other than being cheap! Beware, it is easy to buy loads of them at the low prices they command, as you'll never be able to use them all, ha ha! This one should continue to soften and I am so happy you like it!

Attention Paul, aka Stubble Daddy, of Trotter Handcrafts: this gorgeous Cascadia Line handle is now just below the Equator in Ecuador! Trotter goodness the world over!
