Hey there Guys recently acquired a Charcoal Goods Level 2 open comb , have a heap of blades on hand , any reccomendations on pick of blade for first use , want a smooth , clinical shave ..tempted to go towards Gillette Rubie , thanks

I've only used it twice, but I do concur with the general opinion that Gillette 7 o'clock yellow is very sharp and smooth. I'll leave it to others if the opinion stands that it goes well in a CG... I've never used one.

I haven't used a Gillette Rubie before. I find the Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge (yellow box) and Astra Superior Stainless (blue mark on box) work well for me. But in truth, every face is different. You may try those blades and end up hating them.
