I've been using my polished SS Vector since early March 2020, with a Ti Tradere'esque handle (same dimensions as the stock handle too), and that is how it worked for me:  it was transformational.

I currently only own two razors (the other is a DE-- H&SCo. Z075-ti; ultra smooth/mild great for me as a daily driver when I feel like it), but rolled pretty much exclusively with my Vector for like 6 months.  I haven't seriously looked at another razor in a while, other than Jones'ing for a ti Rocnel Sailor recently (not even sure those will ever be made).

Received my Blackland Vector Ti - polished on Oct 13th, delighted as it was received sooner than expected.

Unfortunately,
The top cap is all scratched up with vertical scratches.  I have reached out to Shane & emailed him 3 times since then with no reply. I emailed it to both his emails including his Customer service email, with no luck.

I was shocked that they delivered the Vector Ti damaged, for a $390 razor. I hope Shane Blackland Razorscan help me out.

Is there any way you could get a couple of pictures of that. Mine's supposed to be here today for reference.

Respectfully, this is overstating things a bit. Two of those emails were afterhours on the same day (the 13th) and came within two hours of each other. The second was sent last night on the 14th. And now we've responded on the morning of the 15th. So that's one business day without a response.  To be clear, I think we should be able to respond within a few hours and that is my goal. I make every effort to respond to customers as quickly as possible, but until we hire customer service agents (working on this), it's just me dealing with correspondence on every forum, social media, phone, email, Facebook groups, etc. in addition to my job of running a growing business. This isn't an excuse and it's up to me to put the correct pieces in place to manage customer inquiries, but the response in this particular case is not unreasonable.

I think it's important to note here that titanium cannot be polished to the same level of reflectivity as stainless steel due to the surface hardness and grain structure of titanium. On flat surfaces, a true mirror finish is not feasible and it will show the gritty structure of titanium. Curved surfaces appear more mirrorlike. So our goal here is not to match the finish of stainless steel. Instead, we aim for as attractive and shiny a finish as possible. This can mean a less aggressive polish on those flat surfaces which leaves some light machining marks, but the surface is shinier and (in my opinion) more attractive. This should be made more clear on our website to set expectations and the new website we are building does so.

With respect to finish, I think Wolfman has one of the best Stainless Steel polished finishes available. He no longer offers a polished Ti. He is such a perfectionist that he was probably losing money on creating a beautiful shiny Ti finish; spending a ridiculous amount of time in the process. Now Wolfman Ti is only offered in the brushed finish.

I don't own a Vector but looking to purchase one soon. Shane has always replied to my emails within 24 hours!

Is Wolfman only offering TI in brushed, when it is available, or is the from the past?

Mirror polish Sabre and machine finish vector.  Both beautiful finishes.

Machined or polished? Which do you prefer? Already have machined Sabre and Blackbird but thinking about adding the Vector in titanium.

Personally I like the polished Ti. It can't quite get to a mirror polish like stainless can and I like that consistent shiny/satin finish more than a mirror.
