Tell us who , what angle feels best in Blackland razor. That would be more accurately determine , compare the angle of the arrow hours . For me the shave is more comfortable , if you apply the angle is 22-24 minutes.

I don't really pay much attention to the angle. I put the top cap on my face with the handle parallel to the ground and lower it until it catches, which seems to be right before the teeth touch my skin. I'm not sure how good I am at keeping that exact angle, but it's at least where I start. I adjust as I shave based on how well it's cutting.

I start out with a shallow (handle further away from the face) angle for the first pass, then make it more steep (handle closer to the face) for the second pass. Both passes with as little pressure as possible.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

It seems to depend on the format; what is right with a DE may be different with a GEM blade or AC blade.

To be vintage it must be older than me!
The last razor I bought was the next to last razor I will ever buy!

When used at the optimum angle what other razors shave similar in efficiency and closeness to the Blackland?

From the ones I’ve tried, the iKon ShaveCraft 104 Tech and the Mühle R41 (2013).

The only other razors that come close to my Blackbirds efficiency and closeness are Charcoal Good Lvl3, Weber PH, and Paradigm Ti first gen.

Would you say that one/all of the is/are smoother than BB?

I would not say that either of those is smoother than BB. However, the BlackBirds provide a greater blade feel without skin irritation.

I call BlackBird a very 'honest' razor. With the great blade feel u mentioned, I can always be sure if I am shaving 'wrong'.
