I just had my first shave in and it was super smooth and efficient. I paired it with a Personna with one shave on it. Did my usual 3 passes + a few touch-ups. Perfect BBS. The head is on the heavier side so I took that to my advantage to let the weight of the razor do most of the work. It's pretty intuitive finding the right angle. I try to avoid upper medium to aggressive razors and the Tradere SB falls right into my wheelhouse. It's not super aggressive but for me it feels more in the lower to medium aggressive range. I bet the OC will up it several notches so I'm happy I settled on the SB.

I ordered the OC and can’t wait to try it. Hopefully it is actually delivered tomorrow.

Just had a first shave on a 24hrs growth. The Blackland Tradere shaves exceptionally well, but my first generation Blackbirds are still more efficient and pleasant on my face. My next shave will be on a 48hrs growth. Again, YMMV - after all I could never make a BBS-1 or a WR2 with different blade gaps (up to 1.25) work for me.

All in all, the Balckland Tradere is a an absolutely stunning razor and it shaves wonderfully! Thank you Shane, for bringing this classic piece of functional art to many more fellow DFShavers!

Living on the edge
What are the comfort levels like with the SB head? Do they match the "feels like Im not shaving with a blade"
comments that some mentioned when using a diamondback 2020?
