tbh I can't think of a company I'd rather be doing this than Blackland.

Blackland always has stock, prices are fair (not cheap, but very little that is cheap is good), quality is very good, customer service doesnt have some of the challenges other makers have. What's not to like here?

This is an easy buy for me.

Couldn't agree more. I was very excited to see Blackland doing this. It will be done right.

Extremely well stated and I whole heartedly agree!! So glad it’s Shane bringing these back because he is a genius in this industry and he knows how to make razors and keep them in stock. His formula just works and he makes some of the best razors on the street!!

Gen 1 ended at 207. So presumably 208, but i don’t know that for a fact.

Living on the edge
This is probably the most important thread on DFS right now.
So I'd like to publicly apologise for a post I made earlier regarding
potential reviewers.

This isn't a definite blind buy for me yet as it isn't going to be scarce product
that will retain or increase in value. No more. So I just wanted to hear from diverse
reviewers before evaluating.

the razor has been out since 2012 - there's plenty of reviews out there already.

I saw a post by Blackland that said "These razors will be a hybrid of the parts I like best from both generations."

Leads me to understand that it won't be a 100% reproduction of the earlier...there may be some tweaks.

Maybe Shane can clarify if the head geometry will be tweaked, even if it is only a little.

If the head will be the exact same one that was released some years ago, then of course
the old reviews will suffice.
