Thanks Andrew that's really helpful...I didn't watch it all, but caught the relevant bits.

I recall the bit in the video where the handle was discussed.
Never liked the handle myself as it never matched the excellent looks
of the head...and I hope that gets some attention.

There's a handle done by Cooncat Bob of BRW that would look so cool
on this head...it even has the bell tube at the end.

On his live feed Shane said he was 95% sure he was going to have a polished handle and was going to improve the knurling

Yep Mark and according to that Shane said last night other than the making the knurling a little more pronounced he will polish the whole razor which works for me. Also when they reversed engineered it Shane seemed to be saying they got it down to it's just like the original 1st and 2nd Gens with the 1st Gen OC being more efficient than either of the two 2nd Gens and the 2nd Gen OC being just slightly more efficient than the 2nd Gen SB. So a digression in efficiency from the 1st Gen OC to the 2nd Gen SB which is nice that there is a choice for the buyer.

{the razor has been out since 2012 - there's plenty of reviews out there already.}

andrewjs18  I hope you don't mind that I planned on doing a few pre release quick Shave comparisons using my 1st Gen OC  to give members an idea of how it compares to some of the more well known modern razors that are considered very efficient like the 1st Gen is. I plan on doing these occasionally leading up to the actual release of the new Blackland/Tradere. Maybe some members with the 2nd Gens can do the same. Since it's been quite a while since I sold my 2nd Gen I'd like to know how it compares to some of the modern razors currently available. Of course everyone's face and beard aren't  the same so I can only give my experience on the comparisons I'd do.
